Pat Schramm serves as the Executive Director of the Workforce Development of South Central WI. The Workforce Development Board serves the six Wisconsin counties of Columbia, Dane, Dodge, Jefferson, Marquette and Sauk.
Throughout her career, Pat has worked on what she refers to as workforce system prototypes that have converted into major system changes that have been incorporated in some cases into statewide efforts.
Among them were the:
- Conversion of the work program for General Assistance receipts from a municipal to a county
based platform - The early stage work for the W2 program/TANF workforce programming
- Design of Job Centers/One Stop System
- The move to Industry Partnerships and Career Pathway training models
- Lead PI for South Central/Southwest WIRED Initiative
Pat also serves on:
- The TEC Center Board – Technology and Bio Science Business Incubator
- The United Way – Safe Communities / Strong Neighborhoods Agenda for Change Team
- The Workforce Alliance Advisory Council
- Advisor to the State of Wisconsin RISE Initiative
- Member of the Association of Workforce Development Professional and the Wisconsin Workforce Development Association
- Member of the Dane County Poverty Taskforce
- Member of the Business Forum Scholarship Committee
